Premium Japanese Green Tea – Kokeicha
This unique tea is crafted by mixing finely ground green tea leaves with a rice-based paste, then pressed into small sticks. The result is a smooth-textured tea with a gentle, slightly toasted flavor, offering a surprising infusion in both form and character.
Kokeicha is rare outside of Japan: it speaks to collectors, the curious, and those seeking a different flavor.
Flavor: mild, lightly toasted
Liquor color: light olive green or golden brown
Ideal temperature: 70–80 °C
Infusion time: 1 – 1.5 minutes, then remove the tea.
